Reflection in Educ Context

This course explores how reflection can drive meaningful learning from experience as it relates specifically to education-related careers. Students will engage in direct experiences in K-12 classroom settings and use an observational framework to analyze classroom practices. Through reflection, critical analysis and synthesis, students will become more self-aware and lay a solid foundation for successful transition into education-related professions. Course delivery is a combination of online modules and observational experiences in education environments. Exclusions: UU299. Notes: Students would be enrolled in the same section as UU299 until the Teaching Option proves viable on its own.
